A consortium built on
measurement, not opinion.

TESSERA GRC is the global research arm of Scala Carta Foundation, a registered foundation headquartered in the United States. Our mission is to standardize the measurement of medication adherence across all care settings using the MAP (Multidimensional Adherence Parameters) instrument and the ATLAS platform. Learn about MAP and PEACS →

Where most adherence research relies on self-report bias or proxy endpoints, TESSERA members collect structured MAP data through a clinician-administered protocol that takes under three minutes at the point of care. That data feeds a normative global database, enabling cross-country benchmarking that has never been possible before.

Membership is tiered to serve every stakeholder: universities running validation studies, clinics measuring patient populations, individual researchers building their evidence base, graduate students earning their first publication credit, and industry partners seeking real-world adherence data for regulatory submissions.

Validated Measurement
All TESSERA studies use the MAP instrument, ensuring cross-site comparability. No bespoke questionnaires, no drift from the normative dataset.
Global Normative Database
Every consented assessment contributes to the TESSERA Normative Dataset: country-level, disease-category, and demographic PE score distributions.
Non-Profit Governance
Scala Carta Foundation governs TESSERA with a scientific advisory board. No commercial agenda drives study design. Members co-author, not co-market.

Choose your level of engagement

Every tier contributes to the global MAP normative dataset. The tier you choose reflects the scope of your access, the depth of your data rights, and your role in shaping adherence science.
